On reaching Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by View Nepal Treks staff with warm welcome transfer respective hotels our guide/leader will inform regarding Tamang Heritage trekking including hotels, lodge on the route with do’s and don’ts with evening group welcome dinner.

Today in Kathmandu preparation for the great trek, with last day to buy and hire gears required for the treks, for interested people can join in our half day tour around Kathmandu at places of great interest within world heritage sites. After an interesting tour back to the hotel with a free afternoon for Langtang Valley Panorama trek preparation where next morning exciting drive takes you beyond Kathmandu to high hills of Langtang Himal.

Starting this wonderful journey driving towards North West of Kathmandu passing interesting villages and towns with fabulous scenery of hills, farm terraces and snow-capped peaks after the warm area reaching to cooler region at Langtang National Park entrance in Dhunche 1950 meters, the one and the only major town of Rasuwa district and Langtang area, inhabited mostly of Tamang ethnic tribes throughout the area of this trekking.
From here downhill for two hours with overnight at Syabrubesi, the door to Langtang, Ganesh and into Tamang Heritage Trail and as well to the Tibet border from this village.

The first day walks towards North West, from Syabrubesi taking an old trekking trail to Gatlang, walk leads through many farm areas and villages, then a climb to reach Gatlang village for an overnight stop. Gatlang one of largest villages of Tamang tribe within Langtang area, where you will be received in a traditional way with Khada ( religious silk scarf) and then check into local homestay for overnight, with time to visit around the villages and interact with the locals.

After an enjoyable overnight at Gatlang, second-day walk starts with an uphill climb overlooking views of mountains, as the walk leads past small farm villages and forest to reach at Tatopani for an overnight stop. Afternoon enjoys the hot bathe in Tatopani (Hot Spring/water) rising from the fresh hot spring, and visit the local villages.

Morning walk leads close to Tibet border on route to Nagthali and Thuman, towards north on the gradual trail, and then climb to a hill with few downhills looking over Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung peaks, as the walk leads through the forest to reach at Thuman village, with time to explore the village and happy locals.

After an interesting time in Thuman village with views of Ganesh and Langtang Himal, morning starts on a gradual winding path, then climb to a ridge offering superb views of mountains and surrounding landscapes and into rhododendron, pines and oaks forest, then short descend to Briddim for an overnight stop.

After a pleasant overnight at Briddim village, return journey leads to the main trekking route of Langtang area at Lama Hotel, walk leads through enchanting woodlands with views of mountains and then a short descend with few short ups and gradual section to Lama Hotel for an overnight stop.

From Lama Hotel morning walk leads to a nice and interesting village of Upper Syabru also called as Thulo Syabru, a short downhill to Riverside and Bamboo area with small lodges in the middle of rhododendron, oaks and bamboo forests, after short rest here walk continues uphill to a ridge at Upper Syabru.
Thulo Syabru village of traditional Tamang houses is linked together with beautiful carved windows and doors with an old monastery above the village.

Today form Thulo Syabru village we are walking through nice jungle with beautiful valley and mountain range of Ganesh himal and Langtang himalaya and trek down to Thulo Bharkhu. From here we are following road to Dhunche Bazaar capital town of the Rasuwa district.

After breakfast a nice interesting drive follows downhill on winding road to Kathmandu passing many farm villages and towns of Kalikathan, Trisuli Bazaar and the back to hustle, bustle of city life of Kathmandu and then check into respective hotels.

Last day in Nepal with a wonderful experience and fond memories on Tamang Heritage Trail treks, as per your flight time our staff transfer you to the airport for your final departure homeward bound or to your next destinations.
