Everest View trek, a short moderate adventure on high green hills of scenic Khumbu. Where you can catch spectacular panorama of world’s highest peaks with towering pyramid-shaped Mt. Everest and magnificent Amadablam. A journey into cultural villages of Sherpa people, the Highlanders of Everest region, where men-folks are famous as mountaineering guides from 1953 onwards after legendary Tenzing and Hillary conquest of Mt. Everest.

Everest View trekking a delightful and enjoyable journey for all types of people and age groups, starting with a scenic flight to land at Lukla a Sherpa town and then heading higher areas of Khumbu. The walk leads past impressive Sherpa traditional villages interwoven with Buddhism religion encountering many prayer monuments along the trail with scenic views of snow-clad peaks.

Slowly gaining elevation to reach at famed Namche Bazaar the hub of Khumbu Sherpa with the wide range of facilities where once a week a busy colorful Saturday market takes place. At Namche for acclimatization and a short excursion to scenic viewpoints, from Namche walk continues further heading with a climb into cool serene forested areas to reach at picturesque Tyangboche Monastery.

Our final highlight and main destinations of the trip offers you with super wide angle views of giant Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Amadablam with series of peaks. At Tyangboche visit its monastery of great interest, surrounded by lovely green woodland of rhododendron, oaks, birches, junipers and pine trees. Completing our fabulous Everest View Trekking and on the highest spot at Tyangboche, our return journey leads with much descend to reach back at Lukla for a panoramic flight to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla 2,830 m & trek to Phakding 2,640 m - 04 hrs.

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 05 hrs.

Day 04: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.

Day 05: Trek to Tyangboche 3,867 m - 05hrs.

Day 06: Trek to Monjo 2,880 m after Namche Bazaar - 06 hrs.

Day 07: Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs.

Day 08: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.

Day 09: In Kathmandu free day with sightseeing tour.

Day 10: International departure homeward bound.

On arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, received by View Nepal Treks staff and guide and then transfer to your hotels. After checking into rooms and getting refreshed joining at meeting place for Everest Base Camp trek briefing, hotels, lodge on the route with do's and don’ts includes welcome dinner.

Morning, transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport for scenic short to a flight of 30 minutes, overlooking views of mountain range with Mt. Everest. On reaching Lukla, here with time for short rest and then start the first day walk to Phakding village for an overnight stop.
As route leads past many interesting farm villages, a nice pleasant trek with few short ups and gradual trails to reach at Phakding by Dudh Kosi River.

After a nice morning, the walk continues crossing bridges over Dudh Kosi River passing several interesting villages of Toc-Toc, Bhenkar, and Monjo.
Then reaching at Sagarmatha National Park entrance, from here walk on river bed for few hours on crossing the last bridge a steep uphill to Namche Bazaar. At Namche where can find facilities of a good restaurant, pubs, cyber café, post office, and banks.

At Namche rest day as well to get acclimatized before heading higher area. Optional short hike to Everest View Hotel, Khunde village or walk up on top Namche for views of Everest, Amadablam and adjoining peaks, visit the museum of great interest.

From Namche on a pleasant trail with downhill to Imjatse River at Phunge-Tenga for lunch, afternoon walk uphill into rhododendron, pines, firs tree forest with views of snowcapped peaks. On reaching Tyangboche visit its monastery with the magnificent panorama of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kangtega, Thamserku, Kwande and majestic Amadablam.

Morning walks on down-hill to Imjatse River after crossing a bridge with a climb to Lobesa unto Sanasa to reach at pleasant gradual path towards Namche. From Namche with refreshing stops along descend leads at Dudh-Kosi River and then a short climb to the entrance and exit point of Sagarmatha National Park to reach our overnight stop at Monjo village.

Our last day treks an enjoyable walk following Dudh Kosi for a while to reach at Phakding village, after crossing a bridge on a pleasant trail past Ghat and Choplung village with last uphill to reach at Lukla. In Lukla for an overnight stop before flying to Kathmandu, enjoy the afternoon at leisure with optional short walks around the town.

Reserved a spare or a contingency day in Kathmandu, where the flight from Lukla can get delayed or canceled due to unfavorable bad weather that might happen as Himalayan weather can be unpredictable sometimes.
If all goes well according to our standard itinerary one can enjoy a free day or sightseeing tour around Kathmandu-Patan and Bhaktapur.
