Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a fabulous and complete adventure starting from former old Himalayan Kingdom of Kathmandu to scenic Pokhara valley in the shade of majestic Annapurna where the mountains reflect on its serene Lakes of Phewa and Begnas.
Trekking through traditional villages of Gurung, Poon / Magar tribes, and into dense rhododendron forest, wherein flowering season this place will be a paradise with beautiful natural garden.
Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Poon Hill adventure continues with breathtaking sceneries after visiting Ghorepani and Poon Hill with fabulous sunrise towards Annapurna base camp within the sanctuary enclosed with an amphitheater of peaks.

After checking into rooms and getting refreshed joining at meeting place for Annapurna Base Camp treks briefing with hotels, lodge on route with do and don’ts includes welcome dinner.

Today in Kathmandu preparation for the great trek, with last day to buy and hire gears required for the treks, for interested people can join in our half day tour around Kathmandu at places of great interest within world heritage sites. private car and guide will be provided. The morning starts with a drive on tourist coach or smaller vehicle as group size for an overland journey that takes you away from Kathmandu valley, heading into low warmer areas with views of snowcapped mountains. As drive continues on busy main highway past farm villages and town then heading Nepal Mid-West to reach at scenic Pokhara city. At Pokhara transfer to nice hotels by the serene lake Phewa with views of Annapurna and
Manaslu mountain range with towering peaks of Machhapuchare ‘Fish Tail’.

Morning 2 hours drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, from here walk follows an old Nepal / Tibet Trans Himalayan Caravan route through farm villages of Bhirtethati and Hille to overnight stop at Tirkhedhunga in the comfort of the nice local lodge after a good walk.

From Chomrong morning leads to a short downhill over terraced farm fields to reach at Chomrong river, after crossing over a bridge with uphill to Sinuwa-Danda, a small place with few lodges offers grand views of surrounding rolling green hills, from here walk continues into dense forest till Bamboo is reached, a place with many good lodge located by the Modi River in the middle of bamboo, rhododendron and oaks forest. From here 2 hours walk on the gradual up trail to Himalaya Hotel via Dovan for overnight stop, situated in the middle of forest Modi River gorge.

After a pleasant overnight stop in Himalaya Hotel, where morning walks leads higher up as vegetation and tree lines drops for high altitude alpine bushes and shrubs, our route leads to follow raging Modi river upstream right up to its source at base camp. Walk gets better on some sections of the route with last steep climb to reach at Machhapuchare Base Camp. Here onward starts of the Annapurna Sanctuary views of Annapurna South-Huinchuli, Singu Chuli / Fluted peak as well Annapurna I with Varahshikhar (Annapurna Fang) towards North West. leads to a short walk up to reach our main destination at Annapurna base camp, starting our trek heading higher up on grassy hill slopes to reach a small plateau and a level ground. As walk advance towards Annapurna Base Camp, with breathtaking views of Annapurna peaks that surround you within the sanctuary with giant wall of Mt. Annapurna I. After a good scenic walk reaching at Annapurna Base Camp a magnificent spot with few large lodges, offers incredible views of giant snow capped peaks that encircles this scenic spot at base camp. Annapurna area was first explored by the British Adventure Col. James O.M. 'Jimmy' Roberts in the year 1956 and exposed to the world as the 'Sanctuary of Gods'. The Sanctuary has been christened as "Annapurna Sanctuary" ever since.

After a great and enjoyable time at Annapurna Base Camp and within beautiful sanctuary, morning leads on long downhill walk to lower areas, as our route descend to Deurali past Machhapuchare Base Camp, then with few short ups and down following a gradual winding trail back into green forested area to Bamboo for the overnight stay. A nice and pleasant spot a temporary settlement with lodges to cater the needs of the trekkers located by the Modi River in a gorge within green bamboo and rhododendron forest.

From Bamboo a short steep climb up to Khuldi Ghar, then on winding downhill path into dense forest to Sinuwa-Danda, and then our walk descends to Chomrong khola. After crossing the bridge an uphill walk for less than an hour to reach at Chomrong village for short rest or lunch stop, after Chomrong a short up for half hour reaching at the top of Chomrong ridge, from here our route descends to Jhinu-Danda for overnight stay, this place offers refreshing hot springs just 20 minutes’ walk downhill near Modi river.

From Jhinu you will start walk down hill to new bridge for an hour and walk aside Modi river another 3 hours to get Syauli Bazaar, have your lunch here and catch the Transport back to Pokhara. In the winter you can get transport here but in summer you have to walk one more hour to Nayapul to get transport back to Pokhara.
