After Namche Bazaar where route diverts from main trail heading north into quiet and hidden area at Gokyo valley a scenic spot with beautiful glacial lakes that catches reflection of snow capped peaks of Cho-Oyo and range of mountains.

Cold in the morning and night time with freezing temperatures as per altitude wise can snow sometimes during springtime also. March to May around mid-hills when wildflowers are in season with riots of colors especially rhododendron of various species.
