Everest region around higher areas of Khumbu falls within Sagarmatha National Park to conserve and protect its exotic flora and fauna and rare plants that nearly lost in this planet.

Sagarmatha a name in Nepalese for Everest while the local Sherpa call as Chomolungma a word comes from Tibetan languages means a ‘Great Mother’ the park where world highest mountains are located. Everest Panorama Trekking:

Starting with flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and then walk takes you from to high Namche Bazaar to reach at magnificent hill top of Tengboche and its monastery with snow capped peaks the encircles this wonderful spot with Everest towards north.

Guideline Itinerary for Everest Panorama:

Day 01:          From Kathmandu to Lukla 2,830 m trek to Phakding 2,640 m-04 hrs.
 (35 minutes of scenic flight with views of Everest)

Day 02:          Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 06 hrs.

Day 03:          Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and local excursion.

Day 04:          Trek to Tengboche Monastery 3,867 m – 05 hrs.

Day 05:          Trek to Namche Bazaar – 05 hrs.

Day 06:          Trek to Lukla – 06 hrs.

Day 07:          Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Everest Base Camp Trekking:

One of the most popular adventure destinations around Himalaya starts with

short flight to land at Lukla airport where walk follows Dudh Kosi River and with

climb towards famous Namche Bazaar at 3,440 m high.

An ideal spot for acclimatization with rest day from here head past Tengboche

Monastery to reach at Everest Base Camp with climb of high Kalapathar hill top

to catch closest views of Mt. Everest and then walk to Lukla for early morning

flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 10:          Trek to Namche Bazaar – 06 hrs.

Day 11:          Trek to Lukla – 06 hrs.

Day 12:          Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Gokyo Valley:

Another beautiful scenic destination within high Khumbu around Everest region where walk starts after landing at Lukla airport from Kathmandu, where walk leads through nice Sherpa villages and into lovely forest to reach Namche Bazaar.

After Namche Bazaar where route diverts from main trail heading north into quiet and hidden area at Gokyo valley a scenic spot with beautiful glacial lakes that catches reflection of snow capped peaks of Cho-Oyo and range of mountains.

Climb takes you at high Gokyo-Ri above 5,357 m and 17,570 ft high with panorama of world highest peaks with Everest, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu and Makalu.

Return journey back to Lukla via Namche for flight to reach Kathmandu.

Besides high Khumbu around Everest region adventure where one can take the original and classic trail to Everest Base Camp starting from Jiri town after exciting drive from Kathmandu.

Cold in the morning and night time with freezing temperatures as per altitude wise can snow sometimes during springtime also. March to May around mid-hills when wildflowers are in season with riots of colors especially rhododendron of various species.

September to early December another best time for walks around Everest region with clear day for views and walk, cold with freezing temperatures during morning and night time and in shade with short sunlight hours due autumn and pre winter season.

Enjoy walks in the comfort of nice lovely local lodge with warm Sherpa hospitality, Everest region around main walking trails offers nice and cozy lodge with spacious bed rooms and large warm dining with excellent food menu to choose.

Everest region with various options from budget and simple lodge to standard or luxury lodge and resorts, a higher area where attached bathrooms are rare due harsh cold climate and dry arid terrain, from Tengboche onward to Gorakshep or at Gokyo Lake where bathrooms are mostly on sharing basis and outside the rooms.
